Summer, it’s a time of fun in the sun, hanging out with kids and friends, looking for cheap (ok, free) stuff to keep us busy and for a change, slowing down to enjoy life. That’s what I was thinking anyway. Then, unexpected trips out of town that require new clothes and lots of dolling up. How about Keagan’s sinus surgery yesterday? Surgery was a never in our summer plans but she did it anyway. And is home doing beautifully. I pray her asthma attacks will be a thing of the past now. How about playing middle man in the battle between the hospital ER and the insurance company. Those are fun phone calls while little boys Cursed With Wildness are screeching through the house. Come on, Calgon, take me away. Really, take me, I need a break!

I love the picture. It looks mischievous and I think those pics are the best. I am sorry your summer is not going as planned. I teach and thought I was going to do great things....I have not been able too. Maybe we will both cut a break before school starts back!
